New Homeowners

To which mailbox will the USPS deliver my mail? How do I get a key to the mailbox?

The USPS controls the mailboxes and the keys. You can approach the mail carrier, Adriana, with your questions, or call the Dublin Post Office at 614-889-0763. You may also want to ask the previous owner, or just have the keys changed. Typically the postal service provides 3 keys to the mailbox.

Paying Assessments:

Assessments are due on or before the 1st of each month. You should mail a check, or submit a bill pay request from your own bank.

Checks must be made payable to "The Reserve Condominiums at Scioto Crossing Association", or one of the following shortened versions of the Association name:

  • Reserve at Scioto Crossing

You may sign up for automatic payments, from your bank account or a credit card through the Resident Portal.

Trash & Recycling

When is trash pickup?

Garden building homes may use the dumpsters along Essex Gate Drive and Carberry Drive. They are picked up on Thursdays.

Townhomes receive trash and recycling services from the City of Dublin, which generally picks up on Wednesdays, subject to the holiday schedule. You can read more about Dublin trash service here. Townhomes may also use the dumpsters, if necessary.

What can go into the dumpsters and trash containers?

Normal bagged household trash, may be placed in the dumpsters and trash cans. Commercial trash, bulk items, furniture, and excessive amounts of trash should be disposed of with a commercial junk removal company. If you need assistance with bulk pickup, please call the Property Manager.

Bulk Pickup Options

Our waste disposal company can pickup bulk items from the dumpster enclosures, for a small fee.

  • Mattress or Box Spring: $25 to $40, each.

  • Sofa/Chair/Loveseat: $25

  • Other items priced upon request.

Please follow these procedures:

  1. You must call or e-mail the Association Manager on or before Tuesday, with a notice of what items are being picked up.

  2. Once the Association Manager confirms your bulk pickup request, on the following Wednesday, place your bulk items in the dumpster enclosure, without blocking the entrances or dumpster doors.

  3. All mattress or box springs must be wrapped in plastic and sealed with duct tape or placed in a mattress bag which is very common item and can be easily found online, or at Zettler Hardware, Lowe’s, and Home Depot.

  4. You will be assessed the costs of the pickup, to be paid with your next monthly assessment.

Failing to follow these procedures may result in a penalty assessment for violating the community rules.

Where can I recycle ________?

Cardboard, papers, plastic bottles, plastic jugs, glass bottles, glass jars, metal cans, and cartons may be dropped off for free at the Columbus Fire Station at 7560 Smokey Row Rd. , Columbus, OH, 43235 (map), through the SWACO Drop-off program.

Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs (CFL) may be recycled at Home Depot.

Electronic waste may be taken to the City of Dublin on Shier Rings Road ( More info here) or you may call Good Karma E-cycling and Junk Removal. Goodwill Columbus will also accept many items for proper recycling.

Household hazardous waste may be recycled at the SWACO Household Hazardous Waste Center. 645 E. 8th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201, phone 614-294-1300. They accept smoke detectors, batteries, fluorescent lightbulbs, various chemicals, and others.

Composting

The city of Dublin offers free composting for residents, at the Dublin Service Center, 6555 Shier Rings Road, in collaboration with Go Zero Services. Collect your food compostable food waste in an airtight container, such as a 5 gallon bucket with a lid, and drop it off at your convenience, 24 hours per day, at the Dublin Service Center. It can help to use a compostable liner in your bucket.

We CAN compost –

Fruits, vegetables, grains, pasta, baked goods, beans, coffee grounds, eggs, eggshells, dairy, cooked meat, wood, other plant and animal based material, soiled non-coated paper/ fiber products, and “BPI certified compostable” plastic products (i.e. trash can liners/bags, forks, spoons, knives, cups, bowls, plates, straws, and other service ware) are accepted.

We CAN’T compost –

The following may be subject to additional fees, and/or may not be received – rocks, stone, glass, all plastics which are not “BPI certified compostable” (i.e. bags, forks, spoons, knives, cups, bowls, plates, straws, and other service ware), metal, steel, tin, aluminum, electronics, Styrofoam, personal health care products, pharmaceuticals, non-compostable packaging, and coated paper/fiber products.

Where can I dispose of my Christmas tree or other yard waste?

Kurtz Brothers provides free yard waste disposal at their Dublin location. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at other locations around Columbus. Please note logs and branches must be less than 8 feet long and 12" in diameter. You must remove all decorations.

Please do not place trees or bulk yard waste in the dumpsters.

Pet Waste Stations

The Association maintains 4 waste stations and 2 waste bag dispensers. The waste stations are attended to weekly by Green Scoop Pet Waste Service, and the biodegradable bags are supplied by Earth Rated. If you have any questions or concerns about the waste stations, please report a maintenance request.

Sexual Offender Notifications

The Association will provide notice to its Unit Owners if any Tier III sexual offender notice is received from the Sheriff pursuant to R.C. § 2950.11. You can search the Ohio Sheriff Alerts website to find registered sexual offenders living in nearby communities.
